Balcony Sunrise, a Rising project from Belfast, Finds Support from Help Musicians for His Latest Single

From Belfast, Northern Ireland, a talented musician named David Ferris has recently released his much-anticipated new single. What sets David apart is not just his exceptional musical abilities but also the support he received from Help Musicians, a charity organization dedicated to empowering and assisting artists in their creative journeys.

David Ferris, 28, discovered his passion for music at an early age. Influenced by his father, who is also a guitar player, and inspired by the rock music scene, Ferris embarked on an electronic musical journey quite late, at the age of 24. Before that, Ferris explored the rock genre, and his dedication and commitment to his craft caught the attention of the local music community.

Help Musicians organization supports musicians across the United Kingdom and has played a significant role in Ferris's career. With their comprehensive programs and initiatives, Help Musicians assists artists at every stage of their musical development, providing valuable resources, mentorship, and financial support.

Ferris’ first heard about Help Musicians through friends and acquaintances within the music industry. He was involved in a project called "Four Eyes," and it was through this project that he learned about the possibilities and opportunities offered by Help Musicians. Intrigued, he decided to reach out to them. Through their platform, he connected with fellow musicians, industry professionals, and potential collaborators, who helped him with techniques and tips to broaden his musical horizons.

When Ferris learned about Help Musicians' support for artists seeking to release latest music, he saw it as a golden opportunity. Armed with his musical ideas and inspired by his surroundings, Ferris set out to create his latest single. Spending countless hours crafting melodies, writing lyrics, and experimenting with different sounds, he poured his heart and soul into the project.

After weeks of dedicated work, Ferris's new single began to take shape. He found himself captivated by the fusion of genres, incorporating elements of electronic music alongside his signature guitar-driven sound. With the guidance and feedback from Help Musicians, Ferris fine-tuned his creation to ensure its appeal to a wide audience.

Katherine Ayling, a principle-based clarinet at the Royal Philharmonic, for more than 10 years said that “his music it seems sort of music that you would have on a sort of relaxation or thing something quite background”

In 2020, Ayling received a support from the same Help Musicians organization as she was unable to work due to a surgery and a long recovery period.

Eva Zsilli, a receptionist at London Metal exchange, shares the same opinion as miss Ayling. She said: “I like the music and I think it is really nice, and relaxing,” although she emphasised not knowing anything about music, after checking some tracks of Ferris’s webpage.

In January 2021, amidst the challenges of the global pandemic, David Ferris released his first single to the world. Titled "Blackout Daylight," the song resonated with listeners, capturing their attention with its infectious energy and thought-provoking lyrics. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences and social observations, Ferris's music struck a chord with audiences, both in Belfast and beyond.

Thanks to the support of Help Musicians, his career trajectory continues to soar. David eagerly looks forward to expanding his musical repertoire, collaborating with fellow artists, and reaching new heights of success.

Ferris's musical aspirations have been developed, opening doors to opportunities, and helping him connect with a broader audience. As his career unfolds, we eagerly anticipate the next chapter in Ferris' musical journey, knowing that his talent and the support he receives will continue to drive him forward.

“If Miami Vice had been filmed at the Pickie Pool in Bangor, it might have sounded like this.” Said Stuart Bailie in an opinion column at Belfast Telegraph; referring to another Ferris’s track, Sunset Drive.
